Larry D. Hendren

Larry D. Hendren, 77, Kansas City, passed away Jan.21, 2018. Memorial Service is Saturday, Jan. 27 at 2:00 PM at McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Road, Kansas City, Mo, with a Visitation preceding the service from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. Inurnment will take place at a later date at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery.

Larry was born Aug. 25, 1940 in Bethany, MO to Ira and Verna (Allen) Hendren. His life’s work was as a driver and mechanic for Old Dominion.

He is preceded in death by first wife, Jackie Crago and his second wife, Wanda Bates; his son, Thomas Hendren; and brother, Harold Hendren. Survivors include his daughters, Amy (Gary) Brooke, Rita Brody and Joyce (Keith) Ross; sisters Marilyn Wilkinson and Anita (James) Robertson; brother Garland (Dorothy) Hendren; grandchildren Katie (Michael) Marsh, Amanda (Justin) Anderson, Chris (Katie) Brooke, Robert Brody (Jenn), John Brody (Alice), James Brody (Amy), Kathryn Webb (Randy), Alex Ross, Erik Ross, Eli Ross, Dana DeBlanc (Shawn), Shannon Gregory (Jeremie), Luke Bates, Billie Jo Willadson (Michael), Brack Bates-DeFries and Rayce Hendren; and great-grandchildren Lyric, Kennedy, Lily, Juliet, Calvin, Savannah, Anna, Emily, Riley, Tommy, Tyler, Allie, Aidan, Bella, Sarah, Lauren, London, Brinley, Daniel, Isaac, Jakob, Micah, Jaxon, Emerson, Ruby, and Luna
