Leta F. Holthouse, 85, of Claycomo, MO, passed away September 18, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at McGilley Antioch Chapel. Visitation 10-11 a.m., at the Chapel, prior to the service. Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Claycomo Fire Department, which she and her husband were founding members. Leta was born May 13, 1925. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Ernest "Jack" Holthouse; brother, Paul Simonin. Survivors include her sons, Ernie (Rosie) Holthouse, and John (Debbie) Holthouse; daughter, Sharon Sims; sisters, Juanita Taylor and Shirley Edmonds; 3 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 10 great grandchildren, with one on the way.
