Our beloved daughter, Lilian "Lily" Louise Kieffer, age 1, entered heaven’s gates wrapped in endless love and light. In her short but beautiful time with us, Lily brought a spark of pure joy to every heart she touched. Her name, meaning pure and beautiful, perfectly captured the essence of who she was.
Lily had an admiring and adoring eye for her big sister, Mia Kieffer, whose every move brought her awe and delight. She wrapped herself around her mother's heart with a bond too deep for words and was a true Daddy’s girl, finding endless comfort and joy in her father's arms. Her days were full of laughter and play—her favorite moments spent climbing into the ball pit, climbing up the stairs eager for the chase looking back with a giggle, or riding around in her little red car with Mia, the two of them side by side in simple, perfect happiness.
Lily is survived by her devoted parents, Matt and Lizzie Kieffer, her proud and loving sister, Mia Kieffer, and her cherished grandparents, Jeffrey and Deborah Kieffer and Rex and Karla Degner. She is welcomed into heaven by her great-grandmother Sheila Kelly, her great-grandparents James and Rita Kieffer, her great-grandfather James Degner, and Larry Keenan, who now hold her safely in their arms.
Though her time with us was far too short, Lily’s light and spirit will remain with us forever—bright, pure, and full of love.
We love you, sweet Lily. You were perfect in every way.
