

Linda Lee Millen Rose of Lee's Summit, Missouri was born November 26, 1942 to Walter and Leora Millen in Elgin, IL. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1960 and Northern Illinois University in 1964. She taught in Antioch, IL for 3 years and engaged in office work at various places including David C. Cook Publishing and Judson College.
In June 1967 she married James C. Rose. Together they raised two sons, Brian and Bradley in South Elgin, IL. Through the years Linda was active in PTA, UMW, Morning Glory Circle, and contributed her talents as a soloist, pianist, and organist to several churches.
Linda is survived by her sons Brian and Bradley, grandchildren: Braeden, Alyssa, Monet, Muhammad, Makayla, Maggie, Mycole, Madi, and Junior, great-grandchildren: Heaven and Halo, all of Lee's Summit, her brother Jon and wife Marla of Burlington, IL, and niece Casey Lynn. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter Barbara Lynn, as well as grandparents Martha and Gus Behm and Linda and Arthur Millen.
The family suggests memorials to the 1st Presbyterian Church of Lee's Summit, MO.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 10am, Saturday July 16th, 2022 at the First Presbyterian Church of Lee's Summit - 1625 Nw O'Brien Rd, Lee's Summit, MO 64081. The church will be available to receive flowers that morning.
