Lois June Witte

Lois was born on November 20, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a secretary at Golden Star Mfg for her entire working career. She was also a lifelong VFW Ladies Auxiliary member, which she also served as past president. She was fondly known as Aunt Lois to all of her family. She did not have any children of her own, but she took care and looked after each of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews, as if they were her own. She was proudly our Family Matriarch and would always remind everyone of this. We will forever miss our Aunt Lois, Matriarch and guiding force.

She is preceded in death by her father, Carl Lewellen; mother, Clara; her husband, Reuben Witte and brother in-law Ray Medina.

Survivors include her sister, Shirley Schultz; nieces, Alicia and Andrea and nephew, Anthony; great-nieces, Jennifer, Isa and China; great-nephews, Carl Jr., Brandon, Gabriel, Gavin and Timothy, great-great nieces, Mercedes and Logan and Great-great nephew Loyal. She is also survived by her wonderful friends that provided so much warmth and love. She appreciated and treasured each of their visits.

The family would like to thank the staff of Ignite Carondelet and Ascend Hospice, whom, showed her and our family such kindness and dignity while in their care.

There will be a private cremation, however, no formal services will be held.
