Lorene Wilson accepted Jesus into her heart at an early age at First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, AL. She later became a faithful member of Gethsemane New Testament Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. At Gethsemane, Lorene was active in the Mission, Motherboard, Sunday school, and Monday Noon-Day Prayer.
After 30 plus years of dedicated employment for AAA Linen Supplies, Lorene Wilson retired to spend more quality time with her family and friends. Her strength, generosity, and welcoming spirit will be greatly missed.
Lorene Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Mark Anthony Wilson, and 12 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her 2 daughters; Patricia Echols and Lisa Spencer (Nick); beloved sister Emma Wilson; 4 brothers, Charles Wilson, Walter Wilson (Mae Alice), William Earl Matthis (Mag), and Willie Lee Wilson; 4 grandchildren, Erin Thompson (Dominic), Tyesha Wilson, Deon Draper, and Markesha Wilson; 7 great grand babies, Dominic Thompson II, Elijah Draper, Naeen Draper, Eriann Thompson, Deon Draper Jr., Ella Thompson, and Madison Jacobs; special great nephews, Robert Jones Jr., and Travon Bartee; special great niece; Raeyonna Craig; godsons, Leon Barner, Joe Barner, and Arthel Barner Jr.; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
