Louie was preceded into death by his parents, Angelo and Cecilia Baldasso; his wife, Elizabeth Betty Baldasso; his sisters, Emma, Elizabeth, Mary and Catherine.
He leaves behind to cherish his life Teresa Baldasso, Patricia Butler (Carson), Jessica Dominguez; his son-in-law, Filiberto Dominguez Sr, whom he loved more as a son; and his special care-giver and daughter, Angela Ojeda, whom he lived with until his passing. Louie was a grandfather to 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 4 angel great-grandbabies. Contributions may be made to The St. Lukes Hospice and Palliative Care or Holy Name Church.
Louie was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the 4th Degree Council 292 in Shawnee Mission, KS. He had retired from Burlington Northern Railroad.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel (3325 NE Vivion Rd, Kansas City, Missouri) from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. There will be a rosary service held during the visitation at 7:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 19th at the Holy Name Of Jesus Parish (1001 Southwest Blvd, Kansas City, KS 66103) at 10:00am. A committal service will follow at Forest Hill and Calvary Cemetery (6901 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131) at 11:30am.
