

Mrs. Louisa P. Busetti, age 86, passed away on March 1, 2011 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Louisa was a very warm, energetic, caring and optimistic person who will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. She was born on March 29, 1924 in Trieste, Italy. She married Frank Busetti, and they had their first son, John, in 1944 in Italy. In 1952, they were sponsored by The Don Bosco Center to come to Kansas City, Missouri, where Louisa resided until her passing. Another son, Bob, was born to the family in Kansas City. Louisa worked initially in the garment industry and then at Western Electric/Lucent Technologies from 1961 until her retirement in the mid-1980s. She was a hard worker and was exceptionally committed to her family, faith and friends. Louisa was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and their son, John, who was an attorney. She is survived by their son, Bob, a special consultant, and his four daughters, Stephanie Busetti, 24, Jennifer Busetti, 22, a recent Kansas State Graduate in Mass Communications, Andrea Busetti, 5, and Alyssa Busetti, 3. She is also survived by John’s widow, Janice Feinstein and John’s and Janice’s son, Richard Busetti, 26. She is further survived by John’s daughter, Kimberly Quach, 44, an attorney, and her husband, Alex Quach, 45, an Intel Director of Marketing, and their three children, Sebastien Quach, 11, Emma Quach, 8, and Zoe Quach, 8. Rosary Services will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth’s Parish, 2 East 75th Street, Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 also at St. Elizabeth’s followed by funeral procession to Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, and a light lunch and refreshments.
