I miss my Mom everyday.  We may not have had much but the most important thing we had was family and love. Since she passed away I try to tell my grandkids memories of growing up with my family. Now I’m also remembering my Dad my sister Shirley and my brother John who were a big part in helping me get through a lot of hard times. I love and miss them very much.

I remember that she always had a tissue in her hand or in her purse 


HGREAT GRMOTHER  LOVED HER  RED BEADS  PEOPLE GAVE  HER AND LOVED TO DANCE ONE TIME WHEN I WENT TO THE  NURSING HOME FOR A PARTY SOME NUESES WERE DOING THE HULA SHE  GOT UP AND STARTED TO DANCE WITH THEM SO CUTE TO SEE,            

I will miss my great-grandma. I liked playing bingo at the Groves. I remember her playing songs on her keyboard.                                                     I will miss you.  Love Samantha

I remember going and staying at my grandmas on the weekend. She taught me how to play love me tender on the piano. I will miss her dearly. 

As a best friend of her daughter Peggy,she made my childhood very special , with her warm welcome into her home ,the best cook ever.we use to play hooky from school and she would hop on a bus with us and we would shop downtown till we dropped. She  could out shop us in 4 " heels . What fun we had!

When we were getting ready for one of Mom's birthday parties she ask me to help her write a little poem to go in the invitation. She wanted everyone to know, even though she was living in the nursing home, "I'm Still Here". It went bring a picture to share, bring a story to tell, I'm excited to see everyone, it's been so long, I miss you all and want to let you know how much I care. She loved writing poems and songs. She loved cooking and baking for everyone. She loved all kinds of music and dancing. I remember her teaching me how to do the "Black Bottom" and the Charleston dance. Mom played a big part in so many lives. Family and friends. Mom may not be here now but she is still here in everyone's hearts. She's in our minds and in our memories. They are all flooding back now. Mom will always be here with us, in our hearts, in our minds, in our memories. I will miss you very much Mom. Love Peggy

I will always remember when great grandma would come to grandmas house for Easter and try to be sneaky and reach in your basket for candy. She was always happy and enjoyed talking to everyone and having fun. She loved spending time with family and that’s something that I loved about her. I also remember how she loved to dance, she would dance with just about anyone, even if they didn’t want to. 

So sorry to the family ! I was so happy that Grandma was there for me thru the years after my mother (Connie) passed away ! I have always ask and thought of her ❤️always in my prayers 🙏🙏 ❤️ -cathy
