

Lucy Pacheco (Magana) 92 was surrounded by her loving family, she was called home to the Lord on February 13, 2017. Lucy was born in Richmond Missouri on June 26, 1924. Lucy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother & great great grandmother. Lucy was preceded by her husband Andres Pacheco Sr, brothers and sisters, Louie Rivera, Elvira Garcia, Salvador Magana, Joe Magana and Frances Garcia. Including her grandchildren Curtis Pacheco Jr. & Jimmy Hilton. Lucy is survived by her sister Margaret Diaz. Lucy is survived by her four children Anthenia (Toni) Pacheco, Andres Pacheco Jr and wife Donna Pacheco, MariaLuisa (Maricia) Beel and husband Greg Beel and Curtis Pacheco Sr. She is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren, Shawn, Andres (Andy) III, Christopher (Chris), Michael, Jennifer, Rachel, Luisa (Lisa), Angela, Marissa, Sara, Eric, Lida, Daniel and Ariana. She's survived by 10 great grandchildren, Anthenia (Nia), Anjelica, Travis Jr, Sophia, Malachi, Myca, Mackenzie, Isaiah, Kalisa and Lucy. And she's survived by two great great grandchildren, Gabriella and Tevin Jr.
Lucy was an inspiration to all who knew her, her courageous spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of many struggles, therefore making her the true meaning of a survivor. Always having a smile on her face and a story to tell. She was a remarkable woman, one that you wanted to sit and listen too. Lucy was a person of faith and enjoyed helping others. She was the type of woman that would give her shirt off her own back. She was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with her family and friends. The legacy of Lucy's kind spirit, passion and zest for life will live on throughout her family. Because she loved her family so deeply, she will be missed but never forgotten. We will carry the memory of who she was in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. on Friday, February 17 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 18 at McGilley Midtown Chapel. Entombment will follow service at Mt Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum in Kansas City, KS. Contributions may be given to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses.
