Lynette was born to Loren Arvin and Marjorie Lou (Jacobs) Herrick in Norton, Kansas. She lived most of her life in Kansas City. Lynette was proud to be a Licensed Practical Nurse working for 30 years in rehabilitating addicts. She retired in 2007. Lynette was an avid gardener especially enjoying growing flowers and vegetables. She was so proud of each and every one of her grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Lynette was preceded in death by her brothers, Bennie and Dennis Herrick; her three children, Larry Allen Phillips, Linn Marie Phillips, and Leanora Kay Phillips; a grandson, Alexander Callaway; and a great grandson, Isaiah Roberson.
Survivors include her daughter, Margie Lou Smith; her cousins, Terry, Dana and Richard; grandchildren, Chandler Phillips, Chelsey Phillips, Heaven Phillips, Carl Junior Roberson, Reba Lyn Roberson, and Mackenzi Callaway; and 3 great grandchildren, Kay Roberson, Trey Roberson and Emma Roberson.
