

Margaret B. (Peggy) Enger, 88, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2016. She was at home at Santa Marta Retirement Community, Olathe, KS. A Remembrance Celebration will be 10am, Saturday, November 12 at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Rd. KCMO, 64145.
Margaret Anne Brandon Blowers was born May 4, 1928 in Saginaw, MI. Peggy grew up in Cleveland where she was a cheerleader at Rocky River H.S. There she met Paul R (Hank) Enger, a football & basketball star who became the love of her life. After graduating from Dennison Univ. in Granville, Ohio, Peggy & Hank were married July 29, 1950. They moved to Kansas City and started a family. She was enthusiastic and active in all her activities which included Kappa Alpha Theta, Daughters of the American Revolution, The Kansas City Museum, golf, fishing, figure skating, dancing & Block Cancer Hotline. First and Foremost in Peggy's life was her family. She raised her 3 children and was married to Hank for almost 52 years until he passed away in 2002. Peggy is survived by her sons, Paul David (wife, Marilyn), Robert Brandon (wife Valerie) and daughter, Margaret Anne. Peggy had 3 grandsons, Andy, Erik & Jeff (wife Katie & great grandchildren Emily, Olivia & Austin).
