Margaret (Tootsie) Quirk, 87, passed away on September 24, 2014. Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Church of the Nativity 3800 W 119th Street Leawood KS, 66209. Family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Friday, at Church of the Nativity prior to the Mass.
Margaret regularly attended and was a long standing member of the Church of Nativity, had lived in the Kansas City area her entire life and grew up in Redemptorist parish.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice (Bud) Quirk; daughters Karen (Carrie) Quirk, Kathy Quirk-Stauch, and brother Michael Ashe. Survivors include sister Helen Muenks, brother William (Bill) Ashe, sons Dan and Tim Quirk and daughter Margaret (Quirk) Anderson. In addition Margaret has 5 grandchildren Brendan, Brittany, and Madeline Quirk, Karen and Richard Anderson.
