Margaret "Jean" (Jernigan) Wilkinson, age 81, born January 13, 1938, peacefully passed away at home in Blue Springs, Missouri on January 5, 2020. Jean was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. She was the daughter of Carl and Buna (Layfield) Jernigan.
Jean was a caring mother, loving grandmother and wonderful friend. Not only did she spent her life dedicated to her family and dogs, she believed in being a diligent worker, retiring from Essilor Optical and has since enjoyed retirement... Allowing her ample time for some of her favorites, such as, enjoying nature, playing bingo and feeding her squirrels lots of peanuts.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved brothers Robert and Jerald Jernigan and two sweet sisters Estelle Clark and Ovita Chandler.
Left to cherish Jean's memory are her daughters, Lee Kupka and Linda Hoskins and son-in-law Rick Hoskins. She was a proud grandma to her granddaughter Sarah Kupka and her grandsons Wade Hoskins, Daniel Hoskins and Joseph Hoskins.
She will be forever loved and missed.
