Marge Stevens of south Kansas City passed away January 23, 2014. She was a member of St. Thomas More Church, 11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be Monday, January 27, 2014 at St. Thomas More from 9:30-10:30 am followed by Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Redemptorist Catholic Church, 3333 Broadway Blvd, Kansas City, Missouri.
Marge was born on September 29, 1920 to Aloys and Pauline Zarda Grindinger. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill (Steve) Stevens, her parents, three brothers, Ollie, Richard, and Tom Grindinger, and three sisters, Patsy Guminger, Dorothy Feikert, and Florence Faltermeier. Survivors include a sister, Rosemary Weber of Shawnee, KS, and many nieces and nephews.
Marge worked for several companies in their accounting department, retiring from St. Joseph Medical Center in 1985 to take care of her mother.
