Marilyn Jean Perz, 88, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 24, with visitation at 9:00 am, followed by the Rosary at 9:40 am, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 9020 E. 51st Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64133. Burial following at Mount Olivet Cemetery with a luncheon back at St. Bernadette’s. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled Veterans (DAV).
Marilyn was born on May 18, 1937, in Blawnox, Pennsylvania. Marilyn is survived by her three daughters, Lois Grogman (Doug), Linda Fleeman (Al), Dianne Sears (Randy); nine grandchildren, Michelle Kellogg (Greg), Tommy Hottovy (Andrea), Tim Hottovy (Breanna), Lisa Connally, Nicole McDaniel (Kyle), Cody McShane (Zaira), Lexi Showman (Mike), Holly Hottovy, Melanie Gilliam; 18 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Charles L. Perz; her parents, Rudolph and Lois Maruskin; and a brother, Rudolph Maruskin.
