Marjorie Louise Coleman

Marjorie was born on January 27, 1935 in Marshall, Missouri. She was the daughter of Edward and Kathleen (Gadberry) Gerhard. She grew up in Marshall and graduated from Missouri Valley College. Marjorie moved to Kansas City to teach at South City View in the Center School District. She met Cornelius "Connie" Coleman and they were married at Visitation Catholic Church on August 4, 1963. Marjorie later taught at St. Peter's and St. Thomas More Catholic Churches teaching junior high math.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Connie Coleman, her parents, her sister, Edwina Gerhard and two brothers, Bill and Ralph Gerhard. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Kathy Coleman, sisters-in-law, Caroline Gerhard, Carol Gerhard and Jane Coleman, several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to St. Thomas More School in honor of her teaching career.
