Mark A Foster

Mark Alan Foster, 51, passed away on September 2, 2017 at 7:20 AM from small cell cancer at his residence in Holden, MO. He was the husband of Tammy L. Foster, married September 1, 2008, they shared 9 years of marriage and 17 years of life together. Born in K.C., MO on August 1, 1966 he was the son of the late Robert D. and Mary E. Foster. He is survived by : children Christopher Foster, 30, of Arkansas, Heather Foster, 29 of Raytown, MO, and Sarah Foster, 27 of K.C., MO, Step-daughters Melissa Abernathy, 38, of Independence, MO, Dana Moore, 36, of Belton, MO, Brothers David, 56, of Holden, MO, Ryland, 55, of O.P., KS, Twin Brother Mike, 51, of Picayune, Mississippi, Robert, 48, of N.K.C., MO, and Sister Donna Mannschreck, 54, of Holden, MO, and 8 grandchildren; Blake 6, Liam 3, Brody 5, Alivia 6, Ava 12, Levi 6, Maddox 12, and Nathan 18. Mark attended Westport High School, where he shared the closest of friends, laughter, and good times. He was employed with Rent-A-Center for 19 years of dedicated service, where he made many close friends through his co-workers and customers. Mark was a “mirrored twin” with Brother Mike. He most enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren, music, his pet Boxer Jake, Family, Friends, baseball & football. He was and always will be the #1 fan of the Boston Red Sox and the N.E. Patriots. Visitation will be Saturday, September 9th at 1:00 PM. Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
