Mark Edward Shaw, 68, of Overland Park, KS passed away unexpectedly March 8, 2016. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 10, at Rosehill Cemetery. Shivah will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday, at Village Shalom. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jewish Family Services or charity of your choice, in his name.
Mark was born September 19, 1947 in Kansas City, KS. He liked to discuss his opinions and wrote eloquently about various topics. He was a Kansas Jayhawks fan. He followed politics and was interested in the political process. Mark was a staunch Democrat.
He was preceded in death by his father Raymond A. Shaw. Mark is survived by his mother Radine E. (Hurst) Shaw; children Brad (Angie) Shaw and Melissa (Rob) Ritter; sister Rosanne (Randy) Deutch; grandchildren Peyton Shaw, Eliza and Isaac Ritter and Rosie Scott; extended family and friends.
