Mary Ann Casper, 92, Prairie Village, KS, passed away October 7, 2014. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Friday, October 10 in Mount Moriah Cemetery at the Chapel of Hope, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
Mary Ann was born August 10, 1922 in Sugar Creek, Missouri. She graduated from Northeast High School. She met her husband, Jack, when they worked for John Deere and were married in 1942. She was a member of Cure of Ars Catholic Church for the past 50 years. She loved spending time with her family and supporting them with her love and wisdom.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Casper, Sr., son, Robert James Casper, parents, Helen and Andy Stavlenich, sisters, Anne Jodts, Katie Roper, brothers, Nick and Mike Stanley, and Frank, John, and Mike Roper.
She is survived by her son, Jack E Casper, Jr. (Marty), daughter, Dianne Adams (Joseph), grandchildren, Joe Adams (Angela), Amy Adams, Christina Smith, great-grandchildren, Conner Adams, Haley Adams, Tanner Hughes, Sidney Hughes, and Rory Adams.
