Mary A. Ceule Haug

Mary A. Haug, 76, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 31, 2011. Visitation will be from 5-8pm, with Rosary starting at 7pm, January 5 at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. Funeral will be held at 10am, January 6 at St. Bernadette’s followed by burial services at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bernadette’s Food Pantry. Mary was born in Kansas City, MO on December 22, 1935; the daughter of Gustave & Annie (DeSmedt) Ceule, who preceded her in death. Mary lived her entire life in the Raytown area and married Eugene “Gene” E. Haug in 1966. They were married for 29 years until he died in 1995. Mary was very affectionately known as “Grammy” and dedicated her life to her faith, her family and her friends. She passionately loved and cared so deeply for her family; especially the diamonds in her eyes; her eleven grandchildren. Her life was not about achievements, but about service and generosity. She is survived by her son, Roger Haug & wife Kelly; granddaughters, Rachael & Julia of Lee’s Summit, MO; daughter, Michelle Cummings & husband Randy; granddaughter, Shay of Independence, MO; son, Darin Haug & wife, Sarah; grandchildren, Olivia, Grace Anne, Johnathan & Benjamin of Belton, MO; daughter, Gina Keilbey & husband, Trey; grandchildren, Carli, Cozmo, Kamryn, & Kassidy of Kansas City, MO and her sister & brother-in-law Cathy & Ed Iser of Lee’s Summit, MO.
