The visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11th, with Rosary prayers following at 10:30 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Private family burial will follow services in Floral Hills Cemetery. Maryanne was born on February 10, 1939 to Leo L. and Mary Ann (Eth) Hoedl in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a life-long Kansas City resident. Maryanne was a 1957 graduate of Glennon High School. She was retired. Maryanne was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church. She loved the Kansas City Royals, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and everything purple.
In addition to her parents, Maryanne was preceded in death by her husband, James; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leo J. and Mable Hoedl and Richard and Anita Hoedl; a brother, Thomas Hoedl; and a sister, Rosemary Hoedl. Maryanne is survived by four daughters, Mary Madick, Rose Stokes (Brian), Barbara Eckert (Kelly), and Cindy Madick; grandchildren, Amanda Patton, Brianna Guzman (Chris), Jillian Barth (David), Leslie Martin (Dillon), Adam Eckert (Makenzie), Jessica Robertson (Ben); 16 great-grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Domino, Bailynn, Ryker and Avery Patton, Charlotte, Harrison and William Barth, Ava and Easton Barron, Remi and Rowan Eckert, Walter and Henry Martin, Ethan and Hailey Robertson.
