Matthew Robert Hernan, 15, of Raymore, Missouri, was born December 9, 1994 and passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Heaven has a New Basketball Player! A Celebration and Memorial will be held "Matt" 10:00 a.m on Wednesday, September 29th at Raymore Christian Church, 500 Peace Drive, Raymore, Missouri. Visitation will be held later that evening from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the church. Matt, a sophomore at Raymore-Peculiar High School, is survived by his parents Robert and Shari Hernan, sister Emileigh Hernan, all of Raymore, Missouri; grandparents Jim and Vicki Herzig of Kansas City, Missouri, uncles, aunts, cousins, best friend Nathan Akins of Springfield, MO; as well as many other friends. In honor of Matthew’s LOVE of sports, the family requests wearing your favorite sports team apparel/Pro or College to the Celebration and Visitation.
