Nichols School, St. Theresa’s Academy and was a graduate of Sarachon-Hooly Secretarial School. Before a high school dance, a classmate, Marion Huber, introduced Frances to her big brother, August L. She was instrumental in the founding of the Community of the Good Shepherd (KCMO) and Lake Mary Center (Paola, KS).
