Monica Lynn Gieker, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 54. Monica was born on October 14, 1971, to Daniel and Linda Meyer. She was the oldest of four children and had two sisters, Amber Rhien and Danielle Bagley, and a brother, Adam Meyer.
Monica was a homemaker who was known for her humorous, honest, and loving nature. She married Chris Gieker on October 24, 1992. Together, they raised a stepson, Darren Brodrick, and three daughters, Dustee Gieker, Shelby Gieker, and Kayley Gieker. Monica was a loving and patient mother, always nurturing towards her children.
She had a passion for NASCAR and enjoyed decorating and interior design. Monica loved spending time with her family, especially enjoying trips to the lake. She also found joy in planting potted plants.
The family extends their gratitude to the nursing staff at NKC Health, particularly her nurse Amber, for their care and support.
