Nancy Dean Basile passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024 in San Antonio, TX. She was born March 23, 1937 in Kansas City, MO to Stephen and Jesse Faye Frick. A 1956 graduate of Ruskin High School, Nancy married the love of her life, William Kent Basile, in 1959. She and Bill raised two daughters in Omaha, NE.
Nancy had a successful career in hospitality, culminating as Director of Radisson Hotel Reservation Center. Devoted to family, she and her husband retired to Mesa, AZ to be near both sets of parents. In retirement, Nancy loved to travel and host family events. She created a legacy of photo albums capturing memories of friends, family, and places around the world.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, William Basile. She is fondly remembered and survived by her children: daughter Rebeccaa Kinzel and husband Timothy; daughter Cynthia Stevens and Keith Krause; granddaughters Jessica and Jennifer; and great grandchildren (twins) Oliver and Opal.
A heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at Coronado at Stone Oak for the exceptional care of Nancy in her final weeks. Internment at Newcomer Floral Hills Cemetery in Kansas City, MO. Nancy will be placed beside her husband, near her parents. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Alzheimer’s Association.
