Nancy was born in Kansas City, Missouri, to her parents, Ethel Bailey and Byron Mack Bailey, and she was raised alongside her seven siblings: Kathy Church, Joyce Bailey, Patrick Bailey, Michael Bailey, Michelle Bailey, Linda Bailey, and Janet Bailey.
Nancy was a strong, fearless, and compassionate woman who touched the lives of many. She was known for her loving heart, outgoing personality, and her ability to make anyone laugh no matter the situation. Nancy was a devoted Kansas City Chiefs fan she loved to cook and had a special gift for bringing people together. She often welcomed others into her home, lovingly taking in many “adopted children” over the years. Stubborn in the best way, she believed in doing things herself and was always determined to have the last word. To know her was truly a blessing, and to be loved by her was unforgettable.
On October 28, 1977 Nancy married the love of her life, Neal Schuch. They shared 40 wonderful years of marriage and built a beautiful life together, living close to their grandchildren, whom they cherished deeply.
Throughout her life, Nancy held various jobs, including working for the IRS, but her greatest role was being a devoted stay-at-home mother and raising her grandchildren.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Jessica Schuch and Nicole Floyd; her grandchildren, Aiden Crew, Abigail Crew, Wyatt Schuch, Abigail Stuart, Maverick Upton, and Gabriel Floyd; and her great-grandchild, Dean Crew.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron and Ethel Bailey; her beloved husband, Neal Schuch; and her siblings, Michelle Bailey and Michael Bailey.
Nancy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her strength, humor, and unconditional love will live on in the hearts of her family and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
