

Othello Patricia Bradley was born August 25, 1937 in Tulsa Oklahoma, to Geraldine Linn Lacy and Waldo Lacy. When Pat was a young child, her father died serving his country in War World II. Her mother would meet and marry Thomas Parker of Kansas City bringing Jerry and Pat to Kansas City to start a new family that eventually would include Thomas “Tom" Parker Jr and Fredrick Parker.
Pat worked for the Kansas City Police Department after high school, eventually settling in to the world of banking. She worked within the banking industry until retirement, was a member of the ABWA, and enjoyed bowling, gardening and retail browsing. Pat met and married William P. Bradley, raising 2 daughters and a son in the suburbs of South Kansas City. She was a lively personality, friendly to strangers and close to her family. Holidays were special to Pat, especially Christmas. The family gathered at her home on Christmas Eve for festivities. Being a great cook, she always prepared an elaborate meal.
Pat was no stranger to loss and grief; losing Thomas “Daddy Tom” in 1965, brother Fred in 1969, her son William Eugene Bradley in 1985, her daughter Cynthia Linn McWilliams in 2016, followed by her mother Geraldine in 2017. Despite such sorrow, she remained a strong women in faith and personality and enjoyed life with family and friends.
She is survived by her brother Thomas “Tom” Parker (Jean) of Orange, TX, daughter Cheryl Lynn Bradley Cartwright of Leawood, KS, grandchildren Ryan Lynn McWilliams (Amber) of McKinney, TX, Nicholas Bradley Wilcox (Desiree) of Belton, MO, Crystal Marie Dizney (Kevin) Adrian, MO, James Gorham (Christina) of Kansas City, MO, Michael Andrew Cartwright of Leawood, KS and 7 great-grandchildren Connor, Carter, Tristan, Sydney, Keegan, Carmen and Jayden. Thank you for the Love Life and Light you shared with us all, you will be missed.
Public Visitation 12:00pm to 1:00pm Saturday July 25 Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes, Kansas City, Missouri followed by a private funeral service. Friends and family may gather from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the home of Pat's daughter, Cheryl Cartwright, 2988 W. 132nd Place, Leawood, Kansas.
