Pansy Louise Hodges, age 93, Prairie Village, KS passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2024. Pansy was born on May 22, 1931 in Grain Valley, MO. Pansy worked part-time as a clerk for Hen House until her retirement at the age of 75. Prior to that she worked as a nurse assistant for Dr. Joseph Holman in Kansas City. She loved working with people.
Pansy was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Deatley Hodges; her parents, Violet and Gilbert Axsom; and her sister, Marguarite Maxine Jenkins (Robert).
Pansy is survived by her daughters, Diana Lynn Plahn (Craig) and Janet Lee Hodges; brother, Marshall Dean Axsom (Donna); and sisters, Dorothy Ann Kolkmeyer (Norman), Bonnie Sue Couch (Loren), Carol Jeanne Meyers (Russ), and Mary Margaret Judd (William).
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Saturday, October 19 from 10am to 1pm at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO 64145.
