Cousin Patricia for most of my life I knew about my mom‘s niece and how her sister Marie and my mom, the aunts  took her everywhere bought her things from harzfelds and took her ice-skating and everything in between. her life was full of family with knowing both sides of grandparents and fun family gatherings And just the delight of childhood especially with a parasol.  she was even in my mom and dad’s wedding with the lucky penny in the shoe   Then She met the love of her life David and then had her sunshine KIM and BRyan and then her life became full of loss and sorrow with deaths and illness later in life. 

I only knew Patricia for four years and we had wonderful swim dates dinner dates and stories. I loved stories of the generations that I never knew. we were 19 years apart, but we were first cousins and she knew the stories. when she told them and laughed and her beautiful blue eyes shined just like my mom‘s. it was a piece of heaven, she treasured many little things to help with her hard journey and I helped distribute those when she needed them to be done so. I’ll miss her a lot because she was the generation the past the history that I loved. She brought family and people alive for me.  All of my family and memories now gone. 

  I pray that she is now finally truly happy and all those holes and sorrows are filled and she’s with those people.  Family!  What I’ve always wanted.  I can’t imagine all of them being there to greet her again as a whole family those people of early losses, those later losses and they were all lead that group in heaven by Grandma Higgins with her kitten 👠 on a marble floor, carrying a pie with a hat coming  to visit Jeanette from a Democratic Party with Mayor Wheeler, in place of her husband, the chief of detectives in Kcmo.  I can’t wait to see them again or meet many for the first time.  

Her parents wedding in 1939 was a Snow White theme.   I believe that full circle fantasy is now true  reality.  Gift and grace

My deepest condolences to you  Kim, Kevin and Tyler.  After 50 plus years Pat and I had many more great memories than not.  
We shared family and many a  laugh and tear together.My sincerest sympathy.
