Patricia Huke

Patricia A. Huke, 87, died July 13, 2011 at NorthCare Hospice House. The Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Monday July 18, 2011 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Smithville, Missouri with a visitation from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery North. Mrs. Huke was born July 10, 1924 in Kansas City, MO to Aloysius and Grace Schroepfer. She was a life long member of Roman Catholic Church and faithfully attended mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Smithville, MO. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandkids. She was a WWII veteran serving as a Pharmacist Mate in the US Navy. She worked at A&P Grocers for 30 years as a retail Clerk. She was a member of the Retail Clerks Union, the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus 3414 and the Altar and Rosary Society. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, George A. Huke; 4 brothers Al, Don, Jim and Jerry. Survivors include her 2 sons, G. Michael (Jenny) Huke and J. Patrick (Barb) Huke; daughter, Mary K. (Eric) Foster; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
