Patricia Ann Jenkins

Patricia Jenkins, 84, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on August 23, 2010 at the KC Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born in Fairmount, MO, on September 5, 1925. She was the only daughter of seven children born to Roy C. and Juanita (Cutler) Reed. Patricia lived most of her life in Kansas City, MO. She worked for Sayles Wilson Co., and Sutherland Lumber Company where she retired in 1990. She enjoyed being around her brothers and all the family gatherings. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she will be missed deeply by them. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eldon; brothers Melvin, Wally, Bob and Jim; son-in-law Michael Clark; and granddaughter Ali. She is survived by her loving daughters Janet Clark, Shawnee, KS, Juanita Patterson (David), Kansas City, MO, Judith Herstein (Ron), Nevada, MO; grandchildren Dennis, David (Julie), Jennifer, Nancy (Tom), Stacey (Ken), Jason (Angel), and Dana (Paul); great-grandchildren Emily, Andrew, Sierra, Connor, Taylor, Colby, Ashton, Lane, Noah, Tyler, Brady and Sydney; brothers Roy (Marilyn) Reed, Lenexa, KS and Mark (Karen) Reed, Kansas City, KS; sister-in-law Shirley Reed, Kansas City, KS; and many special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 27, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Interment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
