He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on December 31, 1960 to James M. and Janice E. Miller. He is preceded in death by his Father, James Miller. Paul’s surviving family members include his Wife, Margaret Miller of Blue Springs, MO; Daughter, Bentley Miller of Grandview, MO; Son, Matthew Miller and Gracie Malicoat of Lee Summit, MO; Mother, Janice Miller of Independence, MO; Sister, Susan Miller of Independence, MO; and Brother & Sister in-law, Philip & Rena Miller of Tipp City, Ohio. He was a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.
Paul graduated from UMKC with a degree in Civil Engineering and became a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri. At the time of his death, he was a Principal, Director of Engineering for the Davidson Architectural and Engineering Company.
Paul was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed many family fly-fishing trips to Bennett Springs as well as hunting on his property. Paul will be missed by everyone that knew him as he touched many lives with his sense of humor, giving nature, and love for his family and friends.
The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the Missouri State Parks Department.
