Paula L. Hardin

Paula Latrice Hardin was born on July 8th, 1969 to Jesse A. Hardin Sr. and Marva J. Terry in Kansas City, Missouri as the youngest of the family. At an early age Paula accepted the Lord Jesus Christ into her heart.

Paula attended and graduated from North East High School in 1987. Paula went on to attend and graduate from cosmetology school. She then had 2 children: Ashley and DeAndre Hardin. Paula worked for the Kansas City Public School district as a cafeteria worker while her children were young.

Paula enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved cousin Mary. Paula worked for the casinos for 20 years where she was a valued employee because of her strong work ethic and was able to move to St. Louis and create a life for herself there while continuing to work for the casino.

Paula enjoyed being a loving Nana to her two grandsons Darcel and Giovanni. Paula will be remembered for her beautiful smile, sweet and light and playful spirit, and bossing her siblings around as if she wasn't the baby sister.

Paula was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse Hardin, Marva Terry, Daddy Joe; her grandparents: Arthur and Lillian Terry, Aunts: Patricia Terry and Daryl Belcher.

Paula leaves to cherish her memory her daughter of the home Ashley Hardin, son Deandre Hardin and sisters Carla and Marla Hardin; stepfather Alphonso Dunn and Mama Helen; sisters Debra Fell, Balenda Scott, brothers Jesse A Hardin Jr, Mark Hardin, grandsons Darcel Bosques, Giovanni Hardin, Play brothers Henry and Warren Brown, Fiance Michael Young and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncle and cousins.
