

She was born January 1, 1946 to Otis and Luzenne Williams. She was the fourth of eight children. Both parents, two sisters, Opal (Williams) Watson, and Florence Owens, four brothers Samuel Williams, Otis Williams Jr., C.W. Williams, and Eddie Williams, and one daughter, DeShella Durr, preceded her in death.
She received her early schooling at A.L. Reed Elementary-Junior High School, in Dumas, Arkansas. She became a member of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ at a very early age. Mother Pearlie was saved at the age of twelve being baptized at Walnut Lake in Pickens, Arkansas.
She moved to Kansas City, Missouri, December 1960, where she attended Central High and Manuel High. She was united with Progressive Church of God in Christ with the late Pastor Elder Allen Monroe, Sr. In July 1982, she returned back to Arkansas to stay for eight years, returning back to Kansas City, Missouri. Mother Pearlie united with Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ in November 1992, Pastor Elder W.B. Henderson from Dumas, AR. residing.
Mother Pearl have served faithfully in the church. She was a woman that loved God, loved life, and loved people. Her motto was "Do what you can, when you can, and while you can."

Local and District Sunshine Band President, Pastor Aide President, Vice President of Y.W.C.C., Hospitality President, Worked in the KCMO School District/Full Day Magnet Kindergarten Program,
P.T.A. President, Volunteer for Title I Reading Program, Girl Scout Leader, Worked in the areas of Nursing, Food Service, & Housekeeping, Licensed Daycare Provider, Worked at Delta Memorial Hospital-Dumas, AR., Worked at Agency on Aging-Dumas, AR.
Her biggest accomplishment was being Saved and Living for The Lord.
She married Wilbert Durr in August 1965. He preceded her in death on April 1, 1970.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Two (2) sons, Donrick Williams of Kansas City, MO and Deon Durr, Kansas City, MO. One (1) daughter, Detreal Durr of New Hope, Minnesota. Nine (9) grandchildren: Antonia Carnell, Antonio Carnell, Tierra Gladney (Durr), Tamara Allen, Tia Kinsley, Marissa Williams, Jeon Luke Durr, Arrina Durr, Deon Durr Jr., Two (2) brothers: Daniel (Norma) Williams and Moses (Brenda) Williams. Both of Kansas City, Kansas. A Goddaughter, Joanne Stinson. Eight (8) niece's: Melinda James, Anthonette Guy, Evande Watson, DeAngela Williams, LaTonya (Coleman) Long, Rachel Williams, Marquita Williams and Rence Weathersby. Three (3) nephews: Earl Watson, Leon Williams, and Timothy Edwards. A very dear and longtime friend, Mother Isabella Stinson. A host of cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-grands, and many many friends.
