Penelope Annastasia Elliott

She attended Drake University in Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin, and her son, Chris. She was primarily a homemaker but worked part time as a substitute for the NKC School District and a church secretary. When her children were young, she served in leadership roles in Boy Scouts, Brownies and PTA.

She was a proud member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, where she was a member of the Daughters of Penelope and served as their Priestess, was a Sunday school teacher and organized Preschool Sunday School. She was very proud of the 7 years she presented lectures to school children about Greek culture and Orthodox religion. She was a member of Liberty Hills Country Club, a member and past president of the Ladies' Golf Association and a past president of Northland Ladies' Golf. She was a member of the Carousel Dance Club and treasurer. She enjoyed her years of water skiing, snow skiing and belonged to several bridge clubs.

She leaves to mourn, 2 sons and daughters-in-law and one daughter and son-in-law: Steve and Ronda Elliott, Bill and Staci Elliott, Georgianne and Denzil Potts and daughter-in-law Beth Elliott (Chris) and 9 grandchildren, Mallory Goepel, Elliott Potts, Cole, Sam, Anna, Kalli, Nick and Calvin Elliott.
