He was born and raised in New York City before moving to Kansas City while in the Air Force. He was a long time business owner who loved movies, home improvement projects, cooking, and entertaining all his many friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; son, Mark; two daughters, Kelly and Jennifer. He had three grandsons, Mark Jr, Nick, and Alex. He also leaves his close friend and brother, Oscar. Other close family include his son-in-law, Mark; sister-in-law, Roberta; and nieces Sarah and Velvet.
