Phyllis Colleen Cooperider

Phyllis Colleen Cooperider was born on March 2, 1938 in Forest City, MO. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and great-grandma. Family was most important to her and she was a stay at home mother and provided love and guidance for the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Charlotte (Prussman) Schaeffer and her husband, Frank E. Cooperider.

She is survived by her children, Gary Cooperider of Kansas City, MO and Pamela St. Thomas and husband, Richard of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Jason Cooperider of Kansas City, MO, Jennifer Kanja and husband, Paul of Kansas City, MO, Brooke Wignall and husband, Steven of Olathe, KS, Darren St. Thomas and wife, Christy of Olathe, KS and Derick St. Thomas and wife, Vera of Shawnee, KS; great-grandchildren: Liam Cooperider, Broxton Wignall, Presley Wignall, Sophia Kanja and Samone St. Thomas.

Funeral service will be held at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64131 on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11:00 am with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial Mt. Moriah Cemetery. A Reception will follow the burial back at the funeral home.
