PORFIRIO LOPEZ “PETE” RAMIREZ Beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather Porfirio Lopez “Pete” Ramirez, age 92, of Grain Valley, MO, passed away on July 11, 2015. Visitation 6-8PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home with Rosary at 6PM. Funeral Mass to be held at 10AM on Friday, July 17 at St. John LaLande Catholic Church, Blue Springs, MO. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Kansas City, MO. Pete was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Angeline Mary Ramirez. Pete is survived by his daughter Ramona “Ronnie” and husband James Larson; 2 grandchildren, Matthew Warzecha and wife Heather, William Wilson and fiancée Sarah Pratt; 4 great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Luke Warzecha, Gabriel and Elaina Wilson; brother Frank Ramirez and wife Connie; sisters Lupe Fretz and husband Terry, Bea Villalobos and husband David, Marcy Ortiz, Margie Howell; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Pete was a WWII vet, 1943-46 and served in the Pacific as an Army Corporal. He then worked on the railroad and retired from Northern Pacific.
