Leon was born December 15, 1958, in Kansas City MO.
Leon lived his life with grit, humor, and a stubborn streak that kept things interesting. A die-hard chiefs’ fan, he never missed a game; win or lose, and believed strongly that yelling at the tv would help the team hear him. He enjoyed the simple things in life: a good joint, hunting, fishing, a good western and spending time with those he loved. He had a great sense of humor, a generous heart, and a soul that didn’t take life too seriously unless you changed the channel during a chief’s game.
He is preceded in death by his mother Norma Green, his father Leo Green, his brothers Orval Green, James Green, Leo Green, and Billy Green, his sisters Robin King, Claire Green, Mary Green, and Jacklyn Green.
He is survived by his sisters Debbie Green, and Evelyn Cuevaz, his daughter Heidi Green, grandsons Jonah and Jordan Swett. And many other family and friends.
He leaves behind countless memories and a reminder to live life unapologetically
