Ray Franklin Shaddox, 86, of Parkville, MO passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on September 10, 2016. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Thursday, Sept. 15 at the funeral home with burial in Longview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society. Ray was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle. Ray served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked for Mack Truck 10 years and TWA from 1969 until retiring in 1992. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Shaddox and Sarah Della Winkle and a son in law, William Hynds. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Lilas of 62 years, children David Shaddox, Janice Hynds, Nancy Hughes (Allen), Timothy Shaddox and Curtis Shaddox (Kerri); nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Crawford and Joyce Donaldson and a brother in law, T.L. Shelton.
