Richard P Fleming

Rick passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 26th, 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes, Kansas City, MO, with burial following in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., to 11:00 a.m., prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests any contributions be made to the charity of one’s choice.

Rick was born August 3, 1948 in Kansas City, MO. He was a graduate of St. Peters elementary school, Rockhurst High and UMKC with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was in the army, and stationed in Germany. Rick was the third generation to operate Fleming & Co Electrical Equipment as a manufacturers rep. He was a very generous and thoughtful person to all his family, friends and business contacts. He will be greatly missed by all.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard & Wilma (Billy) Fleming and his brother Alan. He is survived by two brothers, Jim Fleming and Steve Fleming; nephews, Mike Fleming, Matt Fleming and Merek Fleming; nieces, Mary Ann Frazier and Katie Albold and husband Jason. He is also survived by a zillion cousins.
