

Richard Michael Peck was born July 23, 1943 in Kansas City, MO to the late George Ledford and Anita Frances (Petersen) Peck.
He grew up and attended Bryant Elementary School and graduated from Pembroke-Country Day High School. Richard went on to attend and graduate from the University of Missouri with a Bachelors in Science Education and a Masters of Education. While attending the University of Missouri, he joined the ATO Fraternity.
Richard met the love his life, Cheryl Kay Brummet, as she was attending the Women's Christian College in Columbia. They were married on May 28, 1965 and together they were blessed with two daughters, Susan and Elizabeth. They raised their family in Kansas City. Richard and Cheryl lived in Tucson, Arizona for some time, prior to moving back to Missouri. Richard was a very successful businessman. He was employed as the Vice President of House of Lloyd for many years. The company, the people there and the memories that were made held a special place in his heart. Richard and Cheryl enjoyed traveling together and spending time with family. He also loved to golf He will be remembered by his family as unconditionally loving, very generous, positive and supportive, uplifting and dedicated.
Richard is survived by his two daughters, Susan Delaney and husband Bret of Sullivan, MO and Elizabeth Olin of Olathe, KS; five grandchildren: Alli Delaney, Cassie Wiseman and husband Jake, Emily Falcon and husband Nick, Michael Olin and Luke Olin; eleven great-grandchildren: Kale, Kohen, Kasen, Kross and Kylen Wiseman, Blaine and Dakota Hill, Mercy Delaney, Ryleigh, Adalynn and Gunner Falcon; one brother, Bud Peck of Jefferson City, MO; one sister, Sally Webb and husband, Leonard of Lee Summit, MO; and other extended relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Peck; his parents, George and Anita; and a sister, Barbara Fetzer.
