Robert (Bob) Harvey

Robert (Bob) Harvey, 90, of Blue Springs, MO passed away peacefully on October 31, 2018. Harvey was born to Johnny and Doris Harvey in Kansas City, MO. He married Pauline Hammontree in 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. Pauline and Harvey were married 52 years until Pauline’s death in 1997. In 2000 he married Florence Houk and they enjoyed life together until his passing.

Harvey worked for KCP&L and retired after more than 30 years of service. While enjoying his retirement he loved spending time with this grandkids, traveling and making memories. Working with automobiles, fixing things around the house and tinkering with his hands were just a few of Harvey’s favorite pastimes. He was a very sweet loving husband, father and grandfather who always had a joke or pun to brighten your day.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Doris and Johnny Harvey; First Wife, Pauline Harvey; Son, Robert Harvey Jr.

Survivors include his wife Florence Harvey; Daughter, Sharyn Wehmueller and Jeff; Son, Johnnie Harvey and Elaine; Daughter, Kellie Ginther and Bruce; Grandchildren and their families, Doyle, Amanda, Ryan and Eric, including 9 Great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, November 10th until service time at 10:00 AM with a graveside service to follow at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64133.
