Robert "Bob" Earl Byous

Bob was born in Grandview, Missouri. He attended school in Grandview and Lamar, Missouri before entering The United States Marine Corp May 28, 1954 - Aug 24, 1959.

Bob met Judith Pugh in Lamar, Missouri and they were married November 21, 1959. The couple enjoyed 63 years of marriage together and had three children. Bob worked in the commercial construction industry until he went to work at Western Electric in Lee's Summit, MO. He finished his career as the Bridge Foreman for Cass County, MO Roads and Bridges.

Bob was an active member of Southview Christian Church for over 46 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved children and showed that love to them often with gifts of candy or chocolate milk and donuts.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Kreeger Neal, and stepfather, Horace (Cack) Neal; and his two brothers, Harold and Hollis Byous. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Judy, son Mark Byous & wife Chris, daughter DeAnn Donnell & husband Dean, daughter Misti Henry & husband Bill. Grandchildren Matthew Byous & wife Christina, Gunnar Byous, Drue Donnell, Devin Donnell & wife Kady, Amy Henry, Houston Henry, Shepard Henry and Aerowyn Henry. Great-grandchildren Kinley and Maximus Byous, Kylar May, and Dawsen Donnell. As well as many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, February 4th, from 10 to 11 am. And the service is from 11am to 12pm, Committal with full military honors at the graveside service immediately following. Services will be held at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home and Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob's name to Southview Christian Church, 13608 Norby Road, Grandview MO, 64030, or Visiting Nurse Association, 1500 Meadow Lake Parkway, Kansas City, MO, 64114.
