Robert E. Churchill

Robert Frederick Eugene Churchill, 67, passed away August 8, 2014 peacefully at his home in Raytown, MO. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am Saturday, August 16th at the 1st Baptist Church of Raytown, 10500 HWY 350, Raytown, MO with visitation starting at 10am. Cremation.

Robert was born on August 18, 1946 in Nebraska City, NE to Francis & Doris Churchill. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during Vietnam on the USS Constellation. Robert earned a National Defense Service Metal, Vietnam Service Metal & a Vietnam Campaign Metal. Later he became a member of Local # 101 as a Crane Operator for 40+ years. As a personal pilot he had a passion for flying, a love for fishing & enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. Robert was an active member of the 1st Baptist Church of Raytown. He lived, loved, laughed and will remain in our hearts forever!

Robert is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his son, Keith Churchill; a daughter, Christy Churchill; two grandsons, Brody & Nicholas Churchill; two sisters, Shirley Gray & Marlene Simonds; two brothers, Tony Toogood & Michael Churchill; many nieces & nephews; his chosen family John, Darcy & Alex Gillum & his girlfriend, Beverly Harris.
