Robert was born on July 9, 1932 in Springfield, MO to Robert W. Drury, Jr. and Celia Josephine Drury. He lived in the Kansas City area all of his life. Robert graduated from Northeast High School, Kansas City Junior College and William Jewell College, Class of 1953.
Robert worked at Business Men’s Assurance (BMA) for over 33 years, retiring in 1989 as a vice president.
He enjoyed fine arts, travel, mountain biking, current events and fine dining.
Robert is survived by his cousins Craig Pratt (Colleen) and Sheryl Pratt Biermann (Rick) as well as many beloved friends.
A Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, July 14 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
