Bob was an award winning Master Builder in Johnson County and the Greater Kansas City area for over 20 years. He never cut corners and believed in giving his buyers the best quality and service. His favorite hobby was his vegetable garden, and he loved the Chiefs. He loved being outdoors and kayaking with friends and family.
He was beloved by everyone who knew him for his giving and kind heart. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Debbie for 32 years.
Bob was preceded in death by his father, Hudson Kinsley Gilliland and his brother, Rodrick Gilliland.
He is survived by his wife, Debra, Mother, Margaret, son, Scott, daughter, Kim, step son, Scott Smith, step daughter, Cara Anderson, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, brother, Douglas and wife Sandy, nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. There will be a private memorial for Bob at a later date.
