Bobber had a long and eventful life. He joined the Marines after high school and served with the 2nd Winged Division in the Korean War. After Service, he came home and worked as a mechanic. He opened a Saab dealership and later opened European Motors, a foreign car repair shop with his buddy Bryan Cramond. They joined the K.C. Car Club and started racing minis. After he closed his shop, he decided he wanted to drive a cross country tour bus. He went to work for Arrow Stage Lines and drove for 20 years. He decided he wasn't busy enough so on the weekends he and his wife had a funnel cake trailer where they made and sold funnel cakes for 15 years on the weekends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald, his wife Margie Hagg and his daughter Deanna Hagg.
Bobber leaves behind his wife Ruth, his children Teresa and her husband Roger Carden, Patricia Hagg, David Hagg and step-daughter Charna Bean. He also leaves his grandchildren, Anita Crownover, Alisha and her husband Charlie Elifrits, Angela Mckeehan, Sydney Bean and many great-grandchildren.
We wish to thank the many people who took care of Bobber with his family, Araceli Fedler and her girls, Interim Hospice and Delmar Gardens of Lenexa, Kansas.
