

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 6th at the Combs Chapel at Country Club Christian Church (6101 Ward Parkway) at 2:00 p.m.
Bob was born May 6th, 1934 in Gallatin, Missouri to Thomas C. and Erda L. Horn. Growing up he enjoyed playing football and the trombone, and graduated from Southwest High School Kansas City, Missouri and later he received his associate business degree from the Junior College of Kansas City, Missouri.
He went on to serve in the U.S. Army and while stationed in Heilbronn, Germany, Bob met his future wife Ursula (maiden name Rothfuss). They were married on October 11th, 1958 in Kansas City. Following a career with William Volker in credit, Bob and his family lived in Houston and Denver before returning to Kansas City in 1985.
Bob loved to look at and talk about automobiles and enjoyed spending time with his family, children and grand children. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather with a keen sense of humor and he will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ursula, his three brothers Jack, Wayne and Wade Horn.
He is survived by his sister, Donna Hanna of Santa Barbara, California, daughter Kristina and son-in-law Lee Brumitt of Stilwell, Kansas, son Kendrick and daughter-in-law Sabine Horn of Doylestown, Pennsylvania and grandchildren Emily, Caroline, Samuel, Gregory and Jeremy.
